Hi.
I'm trying to access an external IMAP account through ZWC but it is not working.
I enter all the parameters correctly and when I click on "Test Settings" I get the following error:
"Error: * BYE JavaMail Exception: java.net.SocketException: Socket closed"
I traced the connection between Zimbra and the external server and could see that although I didn't ask for SSL, Zimbra attempts a STARTTLS command. I guess it doesn't like the server's self-signed certificate and I can't find where I should put the certificate on the Zimbra server.

Zimbra server 5.0.23 X64 on Linux Redhat Enterprise Server 5.3 X64.

Trying to connect to an IMAP host with self-signed cert and it complains about a mismatch and won't allow it to be added.
I found this on another post:
zmlocalconfig -e 'data_source_trust_self_signed_certs=true'

and or

zmlocalconfig -e javamail_imap_enable_starttls=false
restart mailboxd
Second one worked for me.
