Problems with accentuation in a reply message

Hi everyone.
I identify a problem in some reply messages on some email accounts, when compose the reply, any accents or special characters (á, ê, etc...) is not showed, and the letter who receives the accent do not appear.
It seems that the problem has relation with the original message, any enconding or something inherit, because in other messages the problem does not occur.
The email account is setting in Idioma: Português - Brasil

You already had this problem? What they did to resolve?

I have the same problem. One thing I've started doing is creating the reply sometime during the day but not sending it until I'm ready to go to bed.
