Thunderbird to Zimbra - .ics file import fails!

Hey guys, I have the exact same problem as described in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=60223&p=284026#p284026
I just cannot import my .ics file from Thunderbird into Zimbra. I'm getting a parsing error. In Thunderbird, there is an option in the calendar for "Offline-Support". When I check this option, the .ics file is about 50kb, while leaving the option unchecked, the file is about 1mb and thus too big or whatever the problem may be. Is there an option so get a more detailed log to sort out the specific error? Maybe it is enough to remove the string which is causing the error..

Error message: A parsing error has occured. parse error: Caught ParseException parsing calendar: Error while parsing VEVENT

PLease help!
