Well, mine wasn't either. No calendars were shown, not even the one named just Calendar. But as soon as I edited the names of two calendars that contained Norwegian special characters, all 5 calendars appeared when I refreshed iCal.

Does not work for us. There is only one calendar in the account called Calendar.
Nothing to rename.
Any ideas?

I have an identical problem with my calendar! I simply assumed it was just mine from all the testing/etc I'd done with it. I don't rely heavily on my calendar so it didn't phase me so much. But I only have the one calendar named Calendar and under my account name in iCal there's nothing shown there yet under the web interface I have it. I have around 40+ users and this issue is isolated to just me...go figure?

My work around solution has been to just subscribe to my calendar in iCal until there's a fix :P
Using iCal Version 3.0.4 (1263)

Zimbra Connector Version 5.0.2420

iSync calendars not working after upgrade to 5.0.7

I get this error with all accounts in our default domain.
iCal reports:
Account Information not found.
Unexpected Error (Domain „(null)“/Error 0).
With accounts in other domains it works.
This is critical! It would be good if someone from Zimbra would show any interest in this!!!
When I just change the domain of an account from the default server domain to another domain it immediatelly works!!! Seems to be an authentication issue...

I'm seeing the same issue here.

We're running 5.0.7. The connector is version 5.0.2420.

When I try with an account other than the default domain authentication seems to go through ok.
Here's part of the log under ~/Library/Logs/Zimbra
(1125)

[Tue Jul 22 15:44:01 200] accountName = xxxx@xxxxx (1125)

[Tue Jul 22 15:44:01 200] unable to read file: contacts.map (1125)

[Tue Jul 22 15:44:02 200] [assert] error: (null)

[assert] where: "SyncManager.mm", "-[ZimbraSyncManager sync:zimbraClient:mode:]", line: 240

(1125)

[Tue Jul 22 15:44:02 200] cancelling sync (1125)

[Tue Jul 22 15:44:02 200] [assert] error: !contactErr

[assert] where: "ZimbraHelper_main.mm", "Sync", line: 1038

(1125)
I know it's not much, but if there's a particular log that will give more info, please point out where I might be able to find it.

iSync calendars not working after upgrade to 5.0.7

Postby akoblentz » Tue Jul 22, 2008 9:45 pm

I've got the sync connector, I'm running Leopard 10.5.4, when I turn on calendar syncing, I get a new shared calendar in ical, but none of my local calendars are synced to the zimbra server.
None of my local calendars have special characters in their names. I don't have access to the server logs, my university recently changed over to zimbra and the admins told me to look on the forums for an answer to this problem. I'm supposed to report back if I get a solution so they can give it to students from now on.
My contacts synced over perfectly, but when I go to reset sync data in the prefpane, I only have the option to reset contacts, not calendars.

To keep this short, most of these issues I've documented on my personal wiki page.

I found the solution!
When using the default domain, you have to enter the username WITHOUT the domain. So test@defaultdomain.com should be entered just as test
Then it works.
With other domains, the username can/must contain the domain part.

I've updated my wiki page about these issues as well as resolution about default domains not working but others do.
