ical

I am generating an ics with all the correct headers but zimbra will not process it

only error logging is:

calendar - Unable to process iCalendar attachment
java.lang.ClassCastException

It forwards to the client but seems to ignore the vcalendar defined under text/calendar

All other calendars thunderbird and evolution see the ics as valid along with providing the accept buttons etc ... and various online checkers say it is valid

We are on Zimbra 8.6.0_GA_1191 (build 20151216160017)

Anyone else seen this?

A bit more info

I am sending this mail from Request Tracker and it play around with the header of the calendar item

Content-Type: text/calendar; charset=utf-8; method=REQUEST; name=meeting.ics

gets rewritten to

content-type: text/calendar; charset="utf-8"; method="REQUEST"; name="meeting.ics"

Could that be causing the java.lang.ClassCastException?

What are the exact steps you are doing, using which client.
Where are you seeing the ClassCastException? Can you paste the whole stack trace please?

Return to “CalDAV / CardDAV / iSync”
