ZD Beta 5.5 - Build 1433

Postby mmorse » Fri Dec 19, 2008 7:30 pm

Zimbra Desktop Beta 5.5 (Build 1433) is now available.
This is a minor release that will not be pushed through auto-update; if you need to address any of the following issues you can find it on the desktop downloads page.

  • SSL connection can hang. Bug 33819 - SocketInputStream.socketRead0 stuck and doesn't timeout

  • Zimbra mailbox mountpoint can cause folder tree loading failure when offline. Bug 33168 - offline: missing folder tree and permissions on shared message folders

  • Bug 33763 - Yahoo CalDav sync doesn't work for some accounts

  • Better protection of privacy on multi-user computers. Bug 30534 - localhost access on shared computer

  • Allow accepting expired SSL certificates, and allow POP/IMAP/SMTP with STARTTLS support to accept invalid/untrusted certificates.

  • Improvements on import/export of mailbox data.

I know this but there has to be an explanation. Every PC whether it be Windows or Linux has the same problem, in other words you guys can't repro but I can repro every time.
My assistant has also installed it and found the same issue.

I am also seeing that problem. The check box to select all is simply not clickable.

Thankyou! At last someone else has this issue.

It's very odd that this 1 minor function does not work in ZD.

Ok, I was able to repro this inhouse... this only seems to be a bug with traditional view (from the mail app toolbar, select View > By Message)
Conversation list view works just fine. Created a new bug:

Bug 34109 – offline: Select all checkbox in message list view does not work
