Zimbra 8.5 Offline HTML5 CLient

Postby bulletxt » Mon Dec 16, 2013 6:27 am

Hi,

I'de like to have some more informations about the future Zimbra 8.5 Offline HTML5 client.
What I'de like to know is:

- users can add multiple zimbra type accounts directly in webmail and not only imap/pop

- user can have the full mailbox
Thanks a lot these two information are very important for me so I can start getting some decisions.

Good day. I am just posting the link to the relevant zimbra blog entry here: Zimbra (JudasPriest) Release Update 1 :: Zimbra :: Blog
From that blog post "full mailbox" is not likely. It will be the most recent X-number of days, which leads me to believe that it will work very similarly to Googles's offline Gmail chrome app at
The">https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/gmail-offline/ejidjjhkpiempkbhmpbfngldlkglhimk
The
suggestion is that for "full mailbox", use a desktop application (e.g Thunderbird, Apple Mail).
Regards
Andrew

But ZD has no version since 2011 and 2011 derivations are full of bugs. Seems to me there is disconnect as the move HTML5 client is made...
