Anti Spam Set-Up

Hello. I am new to Zimbra Desktop as of 24 hours ago, and have been trying to learn how things work....Thought I'd try to figure out how anti spam is working.

So far, got quite a few spam messages, but they all have gotten into the inbox. Have highlighted them and clicked spam button and the email disappears, but cant be found anywhere. Nothing has landed in the Junk folder, and I added a Spam folder myself. and it has remained empty. Is there a setting somewhere to invoke the spam filter or maybe there isn't one on the desktop version....Or maybe it will take some time and more emails to react to ??
