I have a user who just purchased a Motorola Droid Bionic. He was able to go through the procedure for configuring a MS Exchange (Activesync) account and the sync went fine for his email, calendar, and contacts. The only issue is that he can't send outgoing email from the device.
Anyone run into the same issue and if so, has anyone found a solution other than installing Touchdown or some other third party app?

Problem solved. The user figured it out separately and said he just had to delete the default/standard account so that only the corp sync account was remaining and then he was able to send without a problem.
