Iphone problem with contacts and ActiveSync

Postby alexebner » Mon Dec 12, 2016 8:11 pm

Hello
I have a Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS with Release 8.6.0.GA.1153.UBUNTU12.64 UBUNTU12_64 NETWORK edition, Patch 8.6.0_P7.

I have a new Account with some shared contact Folders mounted.
The same folders are on every account of the server.

When i connect a iphone to the new account then the contacts are not full synced to the phone.
The conacts are synced and after view seconds it where lost and synced again.

The strange is when i connect this phone to an older existing account with the same shared folders mounted then there is no problem.

I have also created a new account and there is the same Problem.

I have found that every time when the contacts are droped then i get this in /opt/zimbra/log/sync.log

Code: Select all

WARN  [qtp509886383-32885:https://10.XXX.XXX.XXX:443/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync?User=XXXXXXXXXX@XXXX.at&DeviceId=R6NRHR0VB17VL82UBTAOD53288&DeviceType=iPhone&Cmd=Sync] [name=XXXXXXXXXX@XXXX.at;mid=54;ip=213.225.12.127;DeviceID=R6NRHR0VB17VL82UBTAOD53288;Cmd=Sync;Version=12.1;class=Contacts;folder=960;] sync - out of sync

As you have the NETWORK version I would suggest opening a support ticket is your best bet.

I do not have an active support contract with zimbra. Because zimbra was not able to fix some of the other bugs i have whith zimbra.
And the bugs they was able to fix it need very long time ( 1 month and longer ).
