Cost of Features

We are becoming a BSP partner for Zimbra.  We are going to host for our customers.  We want features for our customers. (Tenants)  


Email, File Transfer, etc.   


How do I find out how much it will cost for these features per tenant?

Hi mcook,


Here you can find how Zimbra split the different features of the Mailbox, the prize is based on the features that each Mailbox has, and not about Email, File Transfer, etc, this stuff you need to do your own numbers with how much cos your datacenter, your Hosting, the Bandwith, etc, but is not related with Zimbra, Zimbra will provide you a BSP license, and each Mailbox that you will have inside, with different features will cost XX or YY, take a look:

   Thank you for your reply.  That does make more sense, things are becoming more clear.   I think I understand now how things are working.  You said that, "Zimbra will provide you a BSP license, and each Mailbox that you will have inside."  Each license will be.... example:  Business Email Edition, Business Email Plus Edition,  Standard Edition, and Professional Edition.  Correct?   So how much will this cost? 


Can you give me a scenario?  Say we have 2 customers... One customer wants to have the Professional Edition and the other just wants the Business Email Edition.  How much will that cost us, as a BSP, to do that?

Yes each mailbox will linked to one of the different licenses, like you said.


Like example:


Customer 1



  • 10 Accounts with Professional Edition (For the Executive teams that have iPads, iPhone, Mac, and want to have everything sync, and also HSM and archiving features with tons of old messages, years and years)

  • 50 accounts with Standard Edition (For the rest of the Company that can works with the Web Client all days, and for mobile devices uses IMAP)


Customer 2



  • 5 Accounts with Professional Edition (For the Executive teams that have iPads, iPhone, Mac, and want to have everything sync, and also HSM and archiving features with tons of old messages, years and years)

  • 10 accounts with Standard Edition (For the rest of the Company that can works with the Web Client all days, and for mobile devices uses IMAP)

  • 10 accounts with Business Email Edition (For some outsourcing people that needs to check just email, without any share item)


So you like BSP will pay to Zimbra:



  • 15 Professional Licenses

  • 60 Standard Licenses

  • 10 Business Email Licenses


About the prices, only sales can help you with this, I don't know any price.
