Postby latre » Sat Jun 13, 2009 5:23 pm

Hi people, i want modify smtpd_data_restrictions, smtpd_end_of_data_restrictions and smtpd_client_restrictions, if i modify direct in main.cf when restart the services main.cf back to the original file, mean no changes allowed??
Fisrt i change smtpd_recipient_restrictions with /opt/zimbra/conf/postfix_recipient_restrictions.cf
But now need change smtpd_data_restrictions, smtpd_end_of_data_restrictions and smtpd_client_restrictions but i cant modify.
Im installing apolicy with zimbra but not works if i not change that.
tnk you

suggest that you should modify Postfix parameters by "postconf" command.

You need to modify the localconfig variables that rewrite that data, using zmlocalconfig. For example:

[zimbra@freelancer ~]$ zmlocalconfig | grep smtpd_data_restrictions

postfix_smtpd_data_restrictions = reject_unauth_pipelining

and

zmlocalconfig | grep client_restrictions

postfix_smtpd_client_restrictions = reject_unauth_pipelining

The last one you'll likely have to modify via postconf.

the same, when use zmlocalconfig -e , then restart the mta and again back to the default.
