Hi Mark, thanks. Good to see you.
Mine is an ldap/mta/proxy along with two mailstore servers. I guess you are right, I've moved some accounts from one mailstore to another, through the standard mailbox move with zmmailbox. I then make sure it doesn't exist there(make sure the account shows the new mailstore as location)
But that was some long time back, and never seen those errors on my previous 6 versions.
So do you think this can happen as the ids were cached by ldap, and now querying it?
That might be it; zmmailboxmove is meant to be run twice. First to move a copy of the mailbox to the new server and update the system that the moved copy is now the "real" mailbox. The second time you run zmmailboxmove with the "-po" (purge old) switch, the old, original mailbox is deleted from the original mailbox server.
If you still have the list of moved mailboxes, wouldn't hurt to run zmmailboxmove with the -po switch against the user's mailbox(es) on the old mailbox server (from whence the mailbox had been moved, not the current mailbox server).
Hope that helps,
Mark

Okay. I just wanted to make sure it was harmless. No issues reported so far so I guess that must be it. Will make note of this.
Thanks for highlighting the right procedure.

Mark, one quick question. I can see my HSM is pretty large, is it because I never ran the 'zmmailbox purge' for those accounts I moved? The server now doesn't have much accounts left. But it is configured to include HSM messages while doing zmmailbox move.
[zimbra@ ~]$ zmprov gacf | grep -i hsm
zimbraMailboxMoveSkipHsmBlobs: FALSE
[zimbra@ ~]$
[zimbra@ ~]$ zmprov gacf | grep -i hsm
zimbraMailboxMoveSkipHsmBlobs: FALSE

Messages in an HSM volume do indeed move to the new server using zmmailboxmove.
But recall that when you move a mailbox to another server you lose the hardlinking for mailstore items, and your disk space utilization can increase -- sometimes by a lot!
Consider User A sends a 20MB PowerPoint to nine other users on Mailbox server X.
Now, you zmmailboxmove all ten mailboxes from Mailbox server X to Mailbox server Y.
The disk space consumed by that one email has gone from a little more than 20MB on server X to a little more than 200MB on server Y.
That's why in the long run it can be more cost-effective to add storage to an existing mailbox server rather than move mailboxes to another server.
Hope that helps,
Mark

We've been running Zimbra since 4.0.3. We have a few "learning experiences" under our belts!
But, the forums we found were very helpful to us when we were getting started, so we try to pay it forward here. You can too!
All the best,
Mark
