So I need to configure a shared-domain between O365 and Zimbra. But there seems to be a problem.
The MX points to Zimbra. Some users are going to be moved to O365, and they will receive email with email forwarding, using their onmicrosoft.com aliases. This works great. Accounts on Zimbra works perfectly, accounts on O365 - not so much. It works well receiving email and sending external emails. But when I send an internal email, I get rejected with either one of the errors:
550 5.7.1 ... Relaying denied
553 5.7.1 : Sender address rejected: not logged in
So i know, that zimbra rejects email, as it thinks (correctly), that the email address is already within it, and someone wants to impersonate it (but I want it to do so). Do you know, where to start with Zimbra, to enable it? I admin, I'm not really acquainted with this system.
- Zimbra Collaboration 8.6 Patch 9 now available (includes fix for CVE-2017-8802). Read the announcement.
- Zimbra Collaboration 8.8.7 + Zimbra Connector for Outlook 8.8.7 are available.. Read the announcement.
- Are you a Zimbra Developer? You can find some interesting stuff in our Official GitHub: https://github.com/Zimbra and check the Community Projects too: https://github.com/Zimbra-Community/
Discuss your pilot or production implementation with other Zimbra admins or our engineers.
