Warning: Unresponsive script

Postby yetdog » Mon Apr 03, 2006 1:29 pm

When trying to load multiple (7-8) calendars via the Ajax interface with multiple appointments per calendar, I get a popup saying Warning: unresponsive script. A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
My options are then to continue or stop script; but the calendar entries disappear from the screen.

Firefox - PC - unsure of specs - remote location
Firefox - OS X - Dual G5, 2GB Ram - local network
Same problem exhibited. Seems to pop up when loading certain calendars.

that popup is native to firefox, not to zimbra (if it's the one I have experienced before)
Supposedly there's a setting you can change to allow for more time loading the scripts. if you go ahead and click on continue loading it should finish.
I've had this issue on several of our internal websites, a script takes too long ( i think the default in firefox is 5 seconds ) and firefox freaks out.

It might be an issue with the client machine, in my case it's just that my personal machine is slow as a car without an engine.
