Default Tip no mail on upgrade from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0

In case this catches someone else.

I have a self-signed cert on my Zimbra server tied to my world facing name (fred.bloggs.com). My BES connects using my internal network name (fred.vm.home) and therefore the certificate is flagged as invalid.

    I had to change :
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Zimbra\AllowInvalidCerts

to 1 to allow things to get moving again. 7.1.0, 7.1.1 & 7.1.4 worked ok, so perhaps the default changed in 7.2.0 or the upgrade did something funky with my certificate.

Thanks for posting this, it bit us, too, your post saved me a lot of hunting around (but not enough, I still have a few unrelated loose ends). In our case the names still matched, but the certificates on the internal servers are still self-signed (only the proxies got commercial certs).

I'm assuming this is on the Windows Server that your BES sits on?

    Yes, that's correct.
