there can be some standalone version of MAPI installed.
Maybe there was some Groupwise software installed.
We need to uninstall this wrong mapi subsystem and After that reinstall Office

There was some Palm software that was installed at some point but did not uninstall cleanly. I believe that had an Outlook conduit, so perhaps that's causing the problem. I'll try to figure out how to wipe that from my computer then reinstall office. Thank you very much for helping me through this.

Okay, it's working now. When I deleted the file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\mspst32.dll" it started working.

Thank you very much for helping me with this problem.

We were having the same issue. Outlook was fine until a rebooting of the computer. We found that we had an old script running that was changing the path. We removed the script and ZCO ran fine with Outlook 2007.

Default Outlook 2007 Crash when starting

I have a Laptop with XP Pro Service Pack 3 and Office Pro 2007 with Service Pack 2. After downloading and installing latest Outlook Connector:
ZimbraOlkConnector-5.0.18_GA_3064_5.0.3066.18, Outlook Crashes at Startup. I am asked for Profile, Select Zimbra, and then Outlook close without error. When starting again, get the message Outlook Failed to Start, Start in Safe Mode?

Did you check if it's a path issue like some of the other posts in this thread? If not, then if you can find a dump of the crash (in %TEMP%\zco-cores), then please post it.

I have not found an issue with paths, however I was not able to locate the dump file in any Sub-directory in the laptop.

    Hope this helps,

Well, we can try a zco log. That might help.
