Default Automatic Send/Receive Issue with Outlook and Zimbra Plugin

I'm currently with a user who recently has been experiencing issues in that the only way they can send/recieve via Outlook(with the ZCS Connector) is by hitting the button manually.

They are running Windows XP SP3. I've already tried removing and reinstalling the Zimbra Plugin.

I'm wondering if anyone has run into this before and happens to have a fix.

If necessary I can include a log dump from the ZCS plugin if that would help things.

I have the same problem, except I can only receive mail for some reason - pressing Send/Receive does not cause messages to go out - they are stuck in the 'outbox' folder. This is a recent problem.

I had the same problem last week with one of my user but i manage to solve it. Please check to see is the outlook working offline. Untick the working offline option at the file menu. Your user would be able to send/receive without manual clicking. Hope it help.

what version of ZCO are you using? there was a bug that was fixed fairly recently that addressed an issue where Outlook was going into offline mode to aggressively.

I also have came across this issue. We are using ZCO 5.0.8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
They can received but can not send. They also sit in the outbox. I installed the 5.0.8 to see if this would fix the problem but it did not.

you have to get us the ZCO logs around the time that you send.

Okay, I was able to resolve the issue. Not the quickest fix but I uninstalled ZCO and removed the profile. Reinstalled ZCO and let it sync (took a while, user has lots of email) but once finished it works fine again. The logs didn't show anything for sending mail. It was like it wasn't even trying. When you would hit send/receive it was like there was no mail to send. Very strange but resolved for now. Thanks again.
