Great! I am glad that you saw the symbols and also identied the bug. I checked the Bug report but I am not quite sure what this means to my already installed users on 6.0.3. If I have to stay with 6.0.3 for a few weeks, do you know enough about the bug to know if this is something that will cause me issues while I continue to use 6.0.3?

The reason that I ask is that I like to be very sure before I install any updated releases in case new issues pop up. I'd like to stick with 6.0.3 if it will work ok until I can properly evaluate 6.0.4.

What are your thoughts on this?

This will not cause you any issues if you continue to use 6.0.3. This only happens after a brand new install, and once you have the profille working, it will be fine. Any new clean install with 6.0.3, it will happen, but if you just go into the profile and initial sync, you will be fine.

That being said, I would go to 6.0.4 ZCO as soon as possible. As far as ZCO goes, there are some bad bugs in there. Most notable is 43107, where if you create an appointment or meeting request and it takes longer than 3 minutes to do so, it will autosave, and when you save or send it, it will be deleted from your calendar.

6.0.3 is really the same as 6.0.2 as far as ZCO goes, and we have done a lot of fixes in 6.0.4.

Ok, I understand. Bug 43107 is of interest to us. This location with the 30 years uses Calendar sharing at a very large level so this probably means moving to 6.0.4 is important.

One last question on 6.0.4 though. Does that also mean we have to upgrade our server software as well or just the ZCO's?

You don't even need calendar sharing to trigger 43107. If you just send a meeting request to a group of users, and it takes you longer than 3 minutes (or whatever the autosave option in Outlook is set to) to do it, then you will run into this.

Generally, we tell people that they have to upgrade the server first -- that later ZCOs are not supported with earlier servers. But in this case, 6.0.3 ZCO or 6.0.4 ZCO will make no difference with the 6.0.3 server. You can still run with 6.0.3 server. I would encourage you to upgrade to 6.0.4 ZCO.

Oh, and sorry, one last question (I think that I already know the answer to this).

Can I simply install 6.0.4 without uninstalling 6.0.3 separately first? i.e. let 6.0.4 do the install all the way through?

The only reason I ask is because of the initial install problem from 6.0.3 and how that might impact 6.0.4.

Yes -- you can install 6.0.4 without uninstalling 6.0.3.

Great! Thank you for all of your help on this issue.

I am sorry about not checking the bug listings more closely. To be honest we were not even 100% sure how to describe the issue we were having.
