Thread: Sync error: MailServiceException$NoSuchItemException: no such message

    Default Sync error: MailServiceException$NoSuchItemException: no such message

    We have a problem with 2 users, who are connecting with Outlook 2007 and OutlookConnector 6.0.5
    After starting Outlook it sync all the time and doesn't stop until it will be closed. During this time the user can not receive
    any new mails until he restarts Outlook.
    Same Problem was on our previous version 6.0.4. We updated 3 days ago to 6.0.5 but the error still exists.
    The users updated 2 weeks ago from Outlook 2003 to Oulook 2007. Under both versions the error occurred.
    We created a new account and imported the old pst file again with the import wizard (no errors).
    Is there a change to get rid of it?

    Are you sure you tried this with 6.0.5? This sounds like bugs 43432 and 43433, fixed in 6.0.5

    We created the new user in version 6.0.3.
    Should we redo the procedure with the new version?

    It shouldn't matter which version the user was created with. ZCO 6.0.5 should clean up the repeating NO_SUCH_MSG. If you can duplicate this with ZCO 6.0.5, please send a ZCO log. Just do it for a minute or so, so the log won't get too big.

    The first line of the log file is:

    Zimbra Connector for Outlook 6.0.5797.4

    That means you are using 6.0.4, when we had bugs 43432 and 43433. You need to upgrade to ZCO 6.0.5. Then your problem will go away. I am talking here about the version of the Outlook connector on the PC.

    Thumbs down same issue with 6.0.5

    I have the same issue under 6.0.5 (it was already a problem under 6.0.3, I hoped upgrade would fix it, but no):

    Same deal. Are you sure you are using 6.0.5? Can I see a ZCO log file?

    What do you mean by "zco log" ? (nothing like that in zimbra/log/ dir).

    Correction btw, it's 6.0.6, not 6.0.5: (list of installed rpm's)

    I'm talking about the client log for the Outlook connector. But before getting those, go into Outlook, and do Help About Zimbra Connector for Outlook. What does the dialog say? I suspect you're running 6.0.4 (or earlier) of the Outlook connector.
