    Default Persona's and sending errors

    Hi all,

Just wanting to get some feedback as to whether this is a bug I need to submit or if my config is wrong.

I'm wanting some users to be defaulting their sent mail as a distribution list eg:
    distlist@domain.com has members account1@domain.com and account2@domain.com

Whenever those members send mail I want the 'from' and 'reply-to' to be set as distlist@domain.com. I've enabled Persona's and also set the preference of 'allow sending from any address' or listed 'distlist@domain.com' specifically, and it works fine from webmail but throws a SOAP error from ZCO (below). If I set the persona to send from a non existing account it works fine. These 2 things make me think it's a ZCO bug.

Note: Soap Fault. Please recreate and resend the message. Details below:
    Error Code: service.PERM_DENIED
Error Text: permission denied: can not access account distlist@domain.com

Any thoughts? Are there any ACL's that can be set to give permission?

    Running:
    ZNE 7.1.4_GA_2568
    ZCO 7.1.4_6356

Been playing with this a little more.

It seems to only occur when the distribution list is in the GAL. If it's not in the GAL outlook will send the email. When it's in the GAL it fails as above.

Is there an ACL that can be applied to give access to the dl?

You should try to use ZCO 7.1.5 pre-release as it fixes bug Bug 71070 – ZCO users are not able to send mail on behalf of user in separate domain

ZCO 7.1.5 Pre-release worked for me. Thanks for the tip!
