    Angry rename user not reflected in connector or sent mail

    Hello All;

    I have renamed a user in the ZAC. I can login as the user with the Weblogin. all looks good, the new name is displayed. However if I send an e-mail, then the recipient displayes the oldname. What? I changed it from the ZAC. I restarted the server, but still the oldname shows. What steps did I miss? Or what should I do to ensure the old name is renamed to the newname?

    As for the connector: I set up a new PC with the Outlook connector and the e-mail account name is 'Zimbra - oldname'. What? I changed the account name within ZAC.

    Zimbra 7.13

    Any suggestions?

    Have a good day.

    I found the problem. Fixed.

    Logged into the web client, under Preferences, Mail, Account, Primary Account Settings. There is a setting for 'Meswsages sent from this account have the following settings.', From - was set to the oldname, changed to the new name. Now all seems good.

    Have a good day.
