Default Nokia E71 and Zimbra emails

Hopefully someone can help, i am going crazy.

    first my problem.

my phone will recieve and open emails and the attachments, with the software that came with the phone. the problem is that i cannot send any emails from my phone. i can with hotmail, but not with zimbra

    my attempts to fix.
i have read through the forums and tried multiple solutions. I have installed the mail for exchange first the s60 2.9 version, which keeps on giving me connections errors, so then i tried an older versionof M4E s60 2.7. which wouldn't install at all

what the hell am i doing wrong, is there a setting in zimbra (mail forwarding) i am ready to make a brick out of my phone and trow it out the window

    Please help

    thank,
    ian

    hey ian191....
i use the build-in-client from Nokia - the only thing which doesn't work... save sent mails to your zimbra sent-folder. I also had some problems in the beginning. But after upgrading my Firmware (t-mobile branded) with Nokia Software Tool it worked with these connection settings:
(german phone so you might see other config params)

    my Firmware:
    200.21.118
    27-11-2008
    RM-346
    (c) Nokia E71-1 (276.06)

    Connection settings:
    Incoming Emails:
    Username: user.name@domain.tld
    Password: zimbra-password
    Incoming Server: mail.domain.tld
    Used Connection: "Always Ask"
    Mailbox-Name: company
    Mailbox-Typ: IMAP4
    Security (Ports): SSL/TLS
    Port: Standard
    Outgoing Emails:
    my Emailadress: user.name@domain.tld
    Username: user.name@domain.tld
    Password: zimbra-password
    Incoming Server: mail.domain.tld
    Used Connection: "Always Ask"
    Security (Ports): StartTLS
    Port: Standard

    User Settings:
    My Mail-name: My Name
    Message sent: Immediately

    Fetch Options:
    E-Mail-Fetch: header only
    Fetch: from Inbox 30
    IMAp4-Folder: Unix-Path

that's it... works perfect with 3G and WLAN

    hope i could help!
    Martin
