Default More devices have been added

Please check out the new builds for

    - Motorola RAZR2-V8
    - Nokia N80 and N95

Support for Windows Mobile devices is planned, but it's dicey at this point. Windows Mobile do not have good support for Java in general. e.g. Samsung Blackjack has a faulty network library. Motorola Q does not recognize jad file, etc.

All the builds have been updated / rebuilt with the new version of library, except for the Blackberry build. Blackberry build is unchanged.

Sweet!! awesome work guys!! ... wait ... I own a Motorola Q has anyone ported Linux to a Motorola Q yet? When I was um .. playing with an E815 and slamming seem edits I know there was a formatting issue with getting jar/jad files recognized but it's been so long I can't remember.

I wish they'd get on the band wagon ... Java is supposed to be portable

Oh well the original Kudos stands ... great work guys ... shows how attentive you really are and how you DO listen to suggestions and feedback. Too many apps ask questions like they are genuinely interested and do their own thing anyway lol

One thing you can try for Windows Mobile devices (Motorola Q, etc) is download J2ME VM from IBM. The steps are rather complicated, so it's not for faint of heart. With IBM VM you can run generic build.

I have just uploaded a new build for all the devices except for BlackBerry. It has some minor fix, and based on the new sets of library. If your ZME client works fine, no need to update. But if you were having random connection problem with your client, it's worth trying the new build. demo2 is currently in maintenance right now, so try it out after a few hours.

Ok I installed the IBM Java "stuff" and verified that it was working. Then I grabbed the generic client and Poof!! It loads great on my Motorola Q ... I have a problem though

I use SSL on my machine at home so I connect to an https:// location. The problem is my cert is self signed and not available to the J2ME client and it wont prompt me to accept the certificate

What I get is an error:

I/O error: certificate chain root is not a trusted Certificate Authority

Anyway ... I figured I'd help troubleshoot and debug at least. For me, the data plan is a LOT of $ on my Q so I try not to use it that much but I figure this might be a handy thing for others to have so I can at least help out somehow

    Regards,
    Lonny
