    Default [SOLVED] Ericsson p910i error message, j2me client problem?

    Until recently, I was using a Java application on my Ericsson p910i but the version of the application was updated since when the following error message appears and the application will not run. The error message says
    ' Internal error java.lang.ClassFormatError : 117 ' Someone has suggested a problem with J2ME client. Can anyone help ?

    Okay, so is this effecting your ZimbraME client or is your question completely un-related ?

    I am afraid my knowledge of these issues is very limited, I have been trying to solve this for 8 weeks and I have posted in some desperation to try and solve this

    The question is are you using the Zimbra J2ME mail client, or is your issue actually the application you mentioned above ? If it is the application above then you would be better speaking to the company who supplied the application.

    Betfair supply the application but they do not know what the problem is. Ericsson looked at the phone and returned it but the problem was still there ( they thought they had fixed it ). I have not read up on J2ME client, including Zimbra, and therefore am not sure. If the phone did not come with Ziombra J2ME already installed then that will not be on the phone. Is there anything I can download from the phone to the phone to resolve this ?

    Speak to Betfair about their application. Zimbra J2ME is a different thing all together and would not have been pre-installed. It is a messaging system and has nothing to do with gambling. Apologies but your question would be better directed to them. Good luck.
