How many accounts do you have on your Zimbra installation currently?
    Cheers,

    Default version is 4.5.3

    Release 4.5.3_GA_733.RPL1-1-1
    RPL1 NETWORK edition

If it matters this is a VMWare image provided by zimbra

    Default Blank bubble issue

I'm having the same issue as well where the Yahoo Maps displays a blank bubble. Dropping a contact on the zimlet or typing an address does work.

I changed the reference in the javascript file. I removed and redeployed the zimlet. I restarted zimbra. I cleared my cache. I tried moving my account to the default COS. I tried setting up a new COS and assigning my account. But still it's not working.

I'm running the Zimbra Network Edition, version 4.5.6_GA_1044.RHEL5

I'm not a strong sys admin, rather a programmer who also does sys admin work, so it could be that I missed something simple.

During the Zimbra install everything went smoothly except that aspell didn't install. Afterwards I found out that this had been due to an unresolved issue with the server hostname. I've since corrected this (to the best of my knowledge) and restarted the server, but I mention it in case there could be some relevance.

I'd like to check the ymaps.js javascript file from the browser to ensure the correct yahoo image server reference, because it seems like the problem would be related to this, but I'm not sure how to check it.

Any ideas on where to go next would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Darryl

    zmzimletctl undeploy com_zimbra_ymaps
    rm -r /opt/zimbra/tomcat/webapps/service/zimlet/com_zimbra_ymaps
zmzimletctl listZimlets (check all sections-but it should be gone)
    cd /opt/zimbra/zimlets-extra
    mkdir ymaps
    cp com_zimbra_ymaps.zip ymaps
    cd ymaps
    unzip com_zimbra_ymaps.zip
    rm com_zimbra_ymaps.zip
    vi ymaps.js
find the only instance of http://img and change to http://gws
    :wq
(while your there check the allowed domains-it's in the .xml file)
    zip com_zimbra_ymaps.zip *
    zmzimletctl deploy com_zimbra_ymaps.zip
zmzimletctl listZimlets (should be on host/ldap/default cos)
    tomcat stop/start
apply it to any other cos'es as needed
    clear your browser cache
    test

all good-then be sure you mv com_zimbra_ymaps.zip com_zimbra_ymaps.zip.original so you don't forget that it's the bad one

    It's still not working...

By the way, there are a couple of typos in the instructions.

second line, the sub-directory name is "zimlet" without the "s".
and you need the .zip at the end of this line: zmzimletctl deploy com_zimbra_ymaps.zip

I also had to add the redeployed zimlet back into my COS, so you might want to add that too into your instructions.

When I followed your instructions everything went smootly, except that I didn't understand what I needed for the allowed domains. Here's what I have: *.yahoo.com,*.yimg.com. Should it be different than this?

So I'm still getting the empty bubble. Any other ideas? I'd really like to be able to use this zimlet with the bubble working.

    Thanks,

    Darryl

    Thanks,
Using yahoo maps> in firebug I still see interaction with those 2 domains-and no others.
but I'm out of ideas, & there's still other threads/bugs open on this issue...
I also think this was already fixed in 5.0...so it's really hard to troubleshoot what else could be the problem.

    could you:
    a) switch yourself to the default cos & hover over it once-then quickly do it again to see if it is just a loading issue
    b) compose a plain text email & try

I switched my user to the default COS that fixed the issue with the empty bubble, but there's still a problem.

The bubbles come up with a map, but the star is not showing up in the right location in this map preview. If I click on the address, the map that opens does show the star in the correct location.

I just checked Yahoo and put in only a zip code and that's the map/star that is displaying in the bubble. Any ideas how to fix this so that the bubble preview shows the correct street address instead of the middle of the zip code? Are others experiencing this same issue?

If an address doesn't have a zip code, it appears that it's not getting recognized? Is this correct?

    Thanks,

    Darryl

Typing chicago IL doesn't need a zip but some less prominent towns I need the zip.
Could you give me a list of some addresses that you have tried?
-Their working to expand some of the address recognition.

Could you confirm if their's any improvement with text only email? (instead of composing in HTML mode)
