    Default Asterisk MWI zimlet not working

    I'm assuming this is supposed to interface with the Comedian login on Asterisk, and if I go directly to the URL I have set in the conf.xml it brings be to the Comedien Voicemail interface: http://192.168.1.3/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi ....but the Zimlet when set with my extension and password, it just pops up a window without the new messages, that I know are there. Any ideas?

    Same problem here. Direct access to Comedian mail shows voicemail. I've set the config_template.xml:

    <zimletConfig name="com_zimbra_asteriskmwi" version="2.1">
    <global>
    <property name="allowedDomains">ip-of-asterisk</property>
    <property name="vmURL">http://ip-of-asterisk/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi</property>
    <property name="myAddress">ip-of-zimbra</property>
    </global>
    </zimletConfig>

    which I think is correct, but when I tail the access log of the apache on the Asterisk server, I see no access attempt.

    Does anyone know where to look next?

    Default Any update ?

    It's still not working in 4.5 ... anyone manage to make it "do" anything ?

    I get zippo if I click on it .. but sometimes it will pop up an empty box showing blanks where it should be showing waiting message details .. typically it shows them when there "should" be something to show, just when I click the "logout" button.

    ??

    Same problem here. In my logs, I see:

    Code:
    vmail.cgi: Can't return outside a subroutine at /usr/lib/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi line 1059., referer: http://my-zimbra-ip/zimbra/

    Why is it calling the file locally instead of using the URL?

    Are you hosting Asterisk and Zimbra on the same box?

    I've asterisk and zimbra on separated boxes.

    When I click on the voicemail zimlet this message is on the /var/log/apache/error.log on the asterisk server:

    Code:
    [Tue Sep 09 20:23:44 2008] [error] [client 200.63.120.8] [Tue Sep  9 20:23:44 2008] vmail.cgi: Can't return outside a subroutine at /usr/lib/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi line 1056., referer: http://200.63.120.8/zimbra/
    I can open http://200.63.120.26/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi and put my ext number and password to check the voicemail using a web browser.

    This is the configuration of the config_template.xml :

    Code:
    <zimletConfig name="com_zimbra_asteriskmwi" version="2.1">
      <global>
    	<property name="allowedDomains">200.63.120.26</property>
    	<property name="vmURL">http://200.63.120.26/cgi-bin/vmail.cgi</
    property>
    	<property name="myAddress">200.63.120.8</property>
      </global>
    </zimletConfig>
    How can I solve it?

    I've tested the zimlet with Internet Explorer and is showing the voicemails. With firefox under linux does not show any.

    I'm getting similar issues with this zimlet. In FireFox, nada - no voicemails are shown in the list. In IE8 I see a list of files, and it looks like QuickTime tries to play them when I click on them, but no sound.

    These issues were first raised in 2006, it's now 2009. One wonders if this Zimlet is going to be either fixed or withdrawn?
