Default How to detect the user using zimbra desktop or network version?

Since there is a big difference between zimbra desktop and network version, the zimlet developed can not work probably.

So the zimlet should detect which type of zimbra it is working on, to eliminate the errors.

    Do anyone have ideas?

Zimbra desktop is a mail client and network version is the server. Your question is confusing.
