    Default Starxpert.save and Zimbra 8

    Hi,

I heard about Starxpert:Save Zimlet and I was looking forward to using it, but as we're migrating to Zimbra 8, I tried to test it on the test server and failed. Of course, the available Zimlet versions cover versions 5.0 to 7.0, so I guess it's simply not compatible (yet). But as I didn't find any thread about that, I figured I might ask...

Did anyone got the Zimlet to work with Zimbra 8?
If it's a known problem, are there plans to port this Zimlet for the latest version?

    Regards,

    Hi,

Yes, we have already corrected the problems with the zimlet but the new version is not released yet.
    It should be available soon.

    Regards,

Sorry, the zimlet was updated a long ago, but the person managing our website doesn't seem in a hurry to release it.
I can send you the zimlet by pm if you want.

Does it work for you ? It works for a single message but when I try to save a folder I get an error in my mailbox.log :

I've only used it for a single mail but didn't get reports so far about that (and I am in no position to test right now). Will report though. Users were a little puzzled by the zipping of the file, but it works for one file at least.

There is indeed a problem. But it doesn't come from the zimlet.
The bug come from zimbra that allow you to drag'n'drop items on zimlets when it shouldn't.

For information, the zimlet Starxpert:Save drag'n'drop is restricted to messages and conversations, so the drag'n'drop of folder should not be possible.
